STC missed this year’s Opening Ceremonies but decided to pay this annual Agri-Business Trade Show a visit on the eve of 3 October 2019.  This is the biggest trade event for businesses in agriculture. The outside exhibitors brought prized livestock as well as interesting fowl for the public to consider breeding these as a business.

At the third co-organizers breakfast meeting set on 19 September 2019 at the usual venue Annabel’s Fine-Dining Restaurant, this year’s show chairman was Sandy Javier of Andok’s Chicken fame who graciously hosted a trip to his farm for Agrilink co-organizers.  PAGASA was honored to act as Agrilink, Foodlink, Aqualink’s show chairman in 2007.

At the Opening Ceremonies of Agrilink Aqualink Foodlink on 4 October 2018 at the World Trade Center.  PAGASA has been a partner of FRLD, organizer of this annual best-attended Agri-Business Trade Show, for the last twenty years!  This Trade Show has always been known for a good mix of embassy diplomats, farmers and students at its Opening. Special Guest for this year is Senator Cynthia Villar, Committee Chair for Agri-Business. Pres. Rodrigo Duterte will grace the affair in the afternoon in view of his busy schedule.

Every year, The Foundation for Resource Linkage & Development, Inc. (FRLD)> organizer of the biggest Agribusiness Trade Show called “Agrilink, Foodlink, Aqualink” holds four meetings with their co-organizers to assure the public of a trade show worthy of visit. PAGASA has been a co-organizer for the last 20 years! It was even given the honor of being the Chair of the Show for the year 2007. To be held this year on 4-6 Oct. 2018, this pre-Show Meeting was held on 3 May 2018 at the usual breakfast venue>Annabel’s along T. Morato.  Chairman for this year’s Show is Edwin Chen Pres.-Pork Producers Federation of the Phils. and Managing Director/Bounty Fresh Farms which is the official sponsor of the Pilipinas Gilas Basketball Team.  This year’s theme: “Efficient Value Chain in the Hog Industry: A Must for Continued Growth.”

The biggest Agri-Business Trade Show in the country took place on 5-7 Oct. 2017 at the World Trade Center. On Opening Day, STC represented PAGASA (which Chaired for this Show back in 2007) with Special Guests Jose “Joey” Concepcion III-Pres. Adviser on SMEs and Mr. Roberto “Bobby” Amores (both in coat beside STC in group shot by red vidi screen). This year’s Show was Chaired by the Durian Growers Association based in Davao (picture with STC at DA Booth).

On the afternoon of 5 October 2017, Phil. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte took time out from his very busy schedule to visit Agrilink at the World Trade Center to cut its ribbon for a second time on its Opening Day. PAGASA VP Liansel Sy attended the affair in behalf of the organization and was honored by being chosen to represent Agrilink at a group picture taken at the Affair. He also had his picture taken with Jose “Joey” Concepcion III, Presidential Adviser on Small and Medium Enterprises as well as Chairman of the popular movement for SMEs> Go Negosyo.

FRLD or Foundation for Resource Linkage and Development, Inc.>event organizer of “Agrilink, Foodlink, Aqualink” and long-time partner of PAGASA for this biggest Agri-Business Trade Show> holds its 2 nd Co-organizers’ Breakfast Meeting at Annabel’s Restaurant along Tomas Morato on 27 Oct. 2016. Every year, it holds four of these Meetings to calibrate and make adjustments to make sure that the Show is as exciting and jam-packed as it was the previous years. This year’s thrust is the Sugar Industry.

Every year, the Foundation for Resource Linkage & Development, Inc., organizer of the highly-successful tradeshow “Agrilink, Foodlink, Aqualink,” holds a series of Co-operators’ Meetings to prepare for the October Show at the World Trade Center in Pasay.  Selected Chairman for this year is Mr. Isidro Acosta (in blue at head of table), corn grower and Chairman of the Regional Agri. & Fisheries Council for Region 2. This Breakfast Meeting held on 16 June 2015 at Annabel’s along T. Morato shows the growing support and interest in the agriculture sector and the need for food retailers like supermarkets to carry fresh produce in servicing its clientele.  PAGASA was selected as Chairman for this Show in 2007.

  On 4 June 2014, the organizers of Agrilink, Foodlink, Aqualink 2014 (Show in October) called for the 1 st Co-organizers Meeting to plan for this year’s upcoming Trade Show. Jake Lu (sitting at head of table in white and blue polo shirt) heads as Chairman for this edition of Agrilink. He is Chairman Emeritus of Citra Mina Group of Companies. AGRILINK is the biggest Agri-business Trade Show in the country.  PAGASA was invited to chair this Show back in 2007.
