PAGASA was invited to Nestle Phils.’ 100th Year Celebration at Resorts World in Newport City.  The top manufacturer showed an Anthology of ten 10-min. films depicting the values of the Filipino people and how Nestle has contributed to the development of said values.  Pictures show the extravaganza and PAGASA’s STC (C) with Bacolod Member Waiman Yip (L) of KJ Fairmart and the growing C-store chain called Munsterific and up-and-coming Asst. National Retailers Conference & Exhibitions 2011

PAGASA strikes a deal with LNA Mgt. Grp., Inc.

Organizer of Food & Drinks Asia which is introducing a new event this year called Grocery Asia 2011. This Trade Show takes place at the World Trade Center from 1-4 Sept. 2011.  In view of PAGASA’s 25th Year as an Industry Association, it will hold an Afternoon Conference on 2 Sept. entitled “Supermarket Uprising” in cooperation with this 4-day Trade Show. The Conference intends to showcase the latest marketing and consumer trends in the supermarket business and will be highlighted by talks by top manufacturers and how they see the supermarkets as a partner in distributing their products to consumers. DTI and PAGASA Meeting "Price Caravans"

Upon the request of the President, D TI took initiative in organizing Price Caravans in alleviating the plight of the regular Filipino by selling grocery items outside Cityhalls at discounted prices. PAGASA suggested that this scheme be carried out at supermarkets with the help of manufacturers who want to sell off their dented/mislabeled products, those nearing expiration date and those about to change packaging at a discounted price so it becomes a win-win situation for all stakeholders. PAGASA guested in the program “Konsumer, atbp.”
